Coachella tickets have sold out within hours of going on sale for more than a decade. The process is not slow — you need to be ready before they drop.

Here's the pattern I watch every single year:
August–October: The guests who plan ahead book. These are repeat visitors, people who've done Coachella before and know how fast things move, and groups with enough people that coordinating early is necessary.
November–December: The middle tier — people who heard about the festival from friends who are going, people who just found out it's a thing worth doing. Most of the best properties are gone. What remains is either overpriced or further out.
January (lineup drop): The flood. The lineup announcement triggers a wave of "okay, we're actually doing this" decisions. At this point, good inventory at reasonable prices barely exists. We are typically fully booked by this point.
